6.Church of the Assumption, Lake Bled
The Julian Alps rise behind the Church of the Assumption, which is situated in one of the most stunning settings imaginable on a little island in the midst of Lake Bled. Only by floating across the lake can one arrive at the delightful little Gothic church, which was built around the end of the 17th century and is decorated with magnificent murals.One of Slovenia’s most popular tourist attractions, the cathedral and lake, makes for some beautiful pictures.
