10.Gergeti Trinity Church
Gergeti Trinity Church is one of Georgia’s most respected and known sites, located in a calm and secluded position in the Caucasus, with Mount Kazbek towering over it. The chapel, perched atop a 2,170-metre-high hilltop, commands stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the glistening Chkheri river.
Visitors can either trek up the steep mountainside or drive to the summit to reach the church, which was built in the 14th century. Gergeti Trinity Church is a photographer’s fantasy due to its remote location and the exceptional beauty on display.
